Sorry for delays. Took me a while to get some free time to re-phuckulate my camera.
But pics as promised...
Gary at GP Tactical is going to help me out with an order for a NEIT vs tac release, and I still haven't figured exactly where I want to take my sling set up, but this is mostly there.
This is the 7.5" AKFX stock with a Stormwerkz folding stock adapter. You cant see it in this picture, but the mechanism actually has some comb height adjustability.
If you look at this photo however and muster some imagination, you will realize that the socket head cap screws that connect the stock to the trunnion can be screwed into one of three height settings. EACH of these height settings has some more adjustability to them.
Cowitness is lower 1/3. I have never had a problem accessing sites with a strong cheek weld. But YMMV.
A picture of the mechanism folded up as requested.
Thanks to a trade with Wicked-Police, I picked up a Larue FUG. Great piece of kit. But as it turns out I prefer traditional hold and less weight.
All in, I've found a lot of fondness for the Cz. That's saying something, because I wasn't exactly sold when they first came to the Cdn market. Looks. Hairs on the back of my neck. Snobbery. Whatever.
But after a 1200 rnd torture test in mid winter during 30 degree below stupid temp. freezes, I was sold.
The bottom line is that this is a lightweight, reliable and simple firearm that has become my go to gun. It has a rail system with a powerful white light, a red dot scope and a sturdy folding stock mechanism.
There are less reasons to day to ask 'why'. With all the great upgrades to this solid platform that are not only readily available but made right here in Canada, the big question is now 'why not'?
