Opinions on Best Big Bore Rifle

Totally agree and something I don’t do enough. Always driven by small groups and not enough by practical hunting scenarios like shooting fast, shooting offhand, and shooting off natural aids like trees, boulders, back packs etc!

As for cats, not your house cat, a adult lion or lioness is very much as or more dangerous than any bears on this planet, way faster, way more agile, a lot more predatory even more than the polar bear. As for weight a male lion can weight up to 600lbs, male grizzly up to 700lbs so really little difference when you think the lion as more speed. Polar bear can be a lot heavier at up to 1300lbs, but really not as common and not a species hunted that much if that make any differences!
For me I feel more confortable in grizzly country than in big cats country 😂
I hear you but fast, agile, and predatory aren't components of what happens when a bullet hits meat. If those things counted the polar bears habitat should be taken into account as well. Your weights on brown and polar bears are a bit light I think and I'd disagree on the predatory nature between African lions and polar bears. There's pretty much a 200% chance you're bring hunted if seen by a coca cola bear.
