I'd prefer the added sight picture for 99.999999% of the time over the slight chance your combat optic gets hit with shrapnel or a bullet

1x red dot to 4x with bullet drop comp with a simple flip.
Not your 500 dollar optic but it is well worth the price.

I couldn't agree more!!!! I wish I could get a Elcan Specter DR, there awesome, But as I said b4, I don't want to sell a kidney to get an optic. There like 1800 bux aren't they? Isn't there something that works similar and has a close enough shape thats not 2 grand after tax???

I would have to sell the Swiss Arms to get it....



on a side note I tried to mount the Hi-Lux CMR 1-4x today and I didn't have the clearance to get over the rear drum sight. With the Rings I have anyway, Any suggestions, I was thinking of a Burris AR-P.E.P.R. Quick Detachable, someone told me that the Hi-lux CMR will clear the drum if you put on this rail. Any thoughts?
