I checked a couple of the sponsors sights but didn't find much. Ebay has a ton of them but none of them ship to Canada and I really don't want to go down there for a $20-30 item if I can get it here. Looking for 3-5" long and 0.5" high...I think. Anyone else have a issue with there optics being to low on the Tavor? Iv been using the irons that came from CanAm up until now.

That looks awesome and id give it a try probably if the mount wasn't integrated into the sight im using

Are you referring to the bushnell T-dot? ( Acog lookalike ) If I'm correct and that's the sight you using get yourself a couple of 1/2" picatinny risers, you could get away with one but having two will give it the same aesthetic look as the built in rail. You can grab them for about $20 each and that should give you the height your looking for.

The ADM Medium Recon is "the" mount for the Tavor...

Nailed it.

Does a Elcan Specterdr sit too low on the factory rail?

I have one on the way right now but it wont be here till next week. I decided on going with one after looking at many pictures of Tavor's with them mounted and they are pretty close to same height off the rail as any variable power in a AR style mount like TV's

Well then that's how its gonna look tomorrow for me. I'm probably gonna go to poco to sight it in after I pick it up tomorrow morning, so I'll let you know how it feels.

Right on, snap some pics as well. One of the other reason I went with the Elcan is the short body and mounting position on the Tavor. Keeping all the weight rearward so the balance of the rifle hardly changes at all.

Where are you grabbing it from?

The Elcan? I already have it, got it from wolverine supplies.
The Tavor? Well I'm not saying, cause I want it to be still there tomorrow morning.
