Hi guys,
I'm in the market for an inexpensive yet decent bolt action fun/practice shooting plinker.
Right now I have 2 rifles I'm seriously looking at but wouldn't mind other suggestions.
Savage MK II FV
Pros: Like the look of it, good reviews so far both on the action, precision and decent finish
Cons: Hate the stock and its synthetic.
Norinco NS522
Pros: Kinda like the look of it, good reviews on action and precision. Ok stock, made of wood.
Cons: Not the best finish, hard to find replacements, bolts for sling and/or bi pod are oddly placed
Like I said, really open to suggestions and comments, they're both about $250, would like to stay in that range. If I had the xtra I would probably go for a CZ or a MK II TR but I ain't got that kind of money right now.
Thx!
