Options other than a custom rifle

I suggest a Sabatti Tactical Evo US for something different. Multi Radial Rifling. I have one in 308 and I shoot approx. .6 MOA with cheap PMC X-Tac match (168gr OTM). With Remington or Federal match, it's between .4 and .6 MOA. I don't reload. I'm a beginner too!

I also had some misfire before I realized that the pierced primers were leaving metal crap in the firing hole and it was jamming the firing pin. Now if I pierce one primer, I stop shooting it until I open and clean the bolt.

I do that now that I know what was going on, haha!

I will try Magnum primers if it isn't resolved. Thing is, I have all this small primer brass from the covid primer famine when all I could get was small primers.

Thanks everyone for all the great advice. Ordered the Tikka Varmint and going from there.

Up next: Rail, rings, scope, and chassis, and maybe a trigger upgrade but it is a process and that's the fun. BTW I have a few thing for sale on the EE to fill the hole in the accounts before the boss catches on lol....

Cheers

I assume in 6.5 Creedmoor as That’s what you wanted 🤷‍♂️ even though you had a pile of other suggestions 🤪

Yes 6.5CM and as you say lots of great options suggested but a fellow has to pick one.
I run a Sightron S111 8-32 on my FTR rifle Great scope with enough power to 700 for me - clear bright Ajust great - Zero stop
#25173 in MDT rings 👍. JMO 😀
