ORA CQBm8 AAR
36 brave souls took part in the spookiest CQB match this year today on Halloween. Everyone showed up and unpacked in the dark. The headlamps casting an eerie glow over the range.
The day stayed cool and the air heavy but the sun did peek out for a moment. Not long enough to dry the ground for Relay 1’s modified prone though. The din of the helicopters in the distance played with all the electronic ear muffs.
Thanks to everyone who helped out and the competitors who showed up to shoot the match. We’ve got one more match this year before all the AR’s hibernate for the winter on November 28. If you’re interested come and try it out. Register in the Erich (oracqbmd@gmail.com). Guaranteed to be the coldest of the year with a chance of snow, fingers crossed. We had 8 first time shooters out today, never too late to give it a try.
