OSTS CUSTOM BUILD vs LMT CQB MRP

No need to get pissy towards me.

I understand you might service some hardcore operators, I am not one. I'm a casual target shooter.

No way I'd get pissy towards you dude!!

Give me a call and I walk you through what you need. If it's from me, Questar, Armseast, Wolverine or another dealer I'll be happy to point you in the direction you need. Not what I need or another dealer needs but what you want and need.

bravo! I have a plan on a 10.5 plane jane upper build in the near future! we will talk

I really like my LMT. For the price Questar is selling them for now they are a great option.

I bought mine as a Compliant version from Questar and changed it up since. Now I think it's in the
configuration I like most. (Flashlight just for giggles.)

Hopefully I'll get a chance to see if the Aimpoint P.R.O. works well on it.

I decided to go for one of those too. :D

Stock is fixed now so it will work the way it's supposed to. I'll have to get the barrel threaded. One thing I preferred about the export model was the target crown. I'm wondering if it will give a bit more accuracy than the regular. That and the price difference between the non export model made it an easy decision at the time. I plan on setting mine up more as a DMR style even with the 16" barrel or later upgrading to a SS 18". With the prices on these I really couldn't say no.

I looked at the NEA 18" DMR. Here's the problem the DMR when available is $1250. The Monolithic rail which I'd want for a DMR rifle will be $1425. So I would think $1500 to $1600 would be the cost of the 18" DMR version the way I would want it. Now change the stock and pistol grip. The LMT MRP export version was actually cheaper after you factored in changing the pistol grip and the stock on the NEA. If you wished to change the LMT stock and grip you could probably break even after selling of the stuff it came with. I couldn't say no.

I almost missed out on these.

I don't think some people understand the difference between a franken gun and a custom built gun, with select top grade parts that are fitted and tested by an expert.

Guys you've all been a wealth of information, hearing all of your input is awesome.

I actually do plan on using the quick change barrel system. Being able to just toss in a new barrel in under a few minutes, and then change the BCG in a few seconds is awesome!

.223 to 7.62x39 to 300BLK
I think it'll make for a lot of fun.

Would anyone else here spend their $2300 (taxes in) differently ?

Please don't say Norinco with $1500 optics hah.

If you haven't made a purchase yet you should look at this.

I personally love the LMT's but a BNIB 10.5 Noveske for $2600 is pretty nice as well.
