Our first "cooking" class!

That is an amazing kitchen, you could even rent it out to SAIT culinary red seals for demonstrations too and get a tax return. You would always have something new being cooked up :)

Man I'd love to do a class there to get some tips to cook my game. As for the guy not setting foot in there. I'd venture in just for a peek at that girl in the last pic.

It would be a nice class to go to but you are way to far away.
Now you should sell high end knives to go along with that and use this cooking course as a demonstration for them. You might get more of the guys involved.
Getting a nice set of wusthof and shun knives is what got me into the kitchen

This is a great idea not to mention that the work space is multi functional it will help diversify your product and possibly bring in a new niche of customer.
I have considering offering small classes like this at the restaurant i work especially because there are many green hunters getting into the sport and many of them have extra disposable income and are still used to college /university learning and are eager. The old salty dogs who know everything probably won't be the ones laying down the money for these classes but the new generation of people looking to be as self sustaining will eat this up if you can target that demographic.
Good work you guys it's an excellent business plan you have going on there.

Thanks for the fantastic feedback. We are now working with 2 cooking schools to come up with an appropriate curriculum.

We will keep everyone posted.

JR

Great idea. I would be interested in taking courses on wild game prep and cooking. Good practical subject matter.

Awesome idea.

How about bringing in a pro butcher to show some techniques for processing with the intention of saving time and maximizing the amount of meat?
