Aha, I found it online. Years and years ago, I found a reproduction of this painting, framed, at a flea market, apparently have been in someone's hunting camp for the previous 50 years. This version is cropped a bit, I think, and has an ammo advertisement in the corner, but the painting hung somewhere in my home for a long while, even though the womenfolk thought it was pointless. Now, having moved three times since, I'm not even sure I still have it.

Cool.Great old picture.
I liked it because the artist clearly knew something about the subject matter and executed it well. And of course it was affordable, picture was backed by a section of cardboard cut out of a big carton of Kelloggs Corn Flakes! 100% authentic!
