I expect to see some well staged field photos this year where guys are wearing ties.
Especially Remington Jim.

RJTo each their own.
I have dropped some monster bucks in Carhartt overalls full of gas and chain oil, just like I've dropped some wearing Filson wool and Sitka gear worth more than some people cars.
Like that Fred Bear pic above, sitting still and being quiet (upwind) will do more than any material or camo pattern ever will. But I do like having a variety of hunting gear, some of it is cheap, some absurdly expensive. It's a hobby, buy what makes you happy.
Great animals scruffee!
I think I had a sweater similar to that. Early 90’s vintage Woodward’s?
...if someone is a fan of bespoke... It’s dress up, personally don’t Hunt in the suit I go to work in.
Really enjoying these old pictures and stories.Keep em coming.
Who doesn't dress for the occasion? Dress up? If you showed up at a funeral or wedding in greasy coveralls, when you have a Sunday suit at home in the closet, I would say that you are a disrespectful azz-hat. If you showed up for a black bear hunt during spring bug season, in a Speedo and flip-flops, I would say you are a moron. If you showed up for a mountain goat hunt in Bermuda shorts, Hawaiian shirt and dock shoes, I would say your an idiot. We ALWAYS "dress-up" for the occasion, or you can leave your rain gear at home, thunderstorm bedamned, you wouldn't want to be accused of dressing up...
