Over a year since transfers initiated Still waiting for handguns QC

So this week is officially over a year I'm waiting for two handgun purchases from the beginning of August 2022. I've tried to contact them through email and I keep getting back the same generic response that they're working on it. My transfer numbers are 599###x and I heard they're currently dealing with 607###x transfers from October. There's clearly an issue and I cannot take their generic responses anymore. How can I escalate it? Will my MP or ombudsman deal with these sort of thing or should I just suck it up? Can I decide to give up on the transfer and just ask for a refund? The government is basically holding my money and my purchases hostage and now I'm stuck with neither nor. Thanks

I would contact my MP immediately and demand that my “ government service” do their damn job. I know of a couple of people who have done this and it works
 
Infuriating. No one else has to stomach this bullsh1t. We're not second class citizens, we're the unwanted, persona non-grata. We need to throw a champagne party when Trudeau is voted out of office!
