Over-inflated resellers. BCL 102.

Anyone who pays $4000 for an NEA product is a fool, these are not some limited run collectors rifle, supply simply hasn't caught up to demand yet. Give it a couple more months and they'll be on the EE for $1500.

You could always lowball him with a $1000 offer reminding him that they are $2000 new and the next batch will be along shortly followed by another followed by another. By spring I bet there won't even be a waiting list, and if they don't get their consistency up so everyone is getting a good rifle instead of it being a bit of a gamble the demand will drop even faster.

Agreed strongly.
When they shoot well they seem to be about worth the money.
They do not all shoot well.
They all seem to shoot differently and some don't shoot well.
I'm waiting out on them for a long time. I'll see where the 102 is at by next summer.
$4K.....some people's kids. Only thing more ridiculous would be the man who pays for it ;)

Update:

Now they are selling for 1225 from Ammo Source with only 200-300 rounds down them.

I'm predicting they will fall to be 995 new and stay there other than the odd sale which will be $50-80 off.

Stag-10 crushed the BCL .. But it was mostly due to quality differences, and, if you ask me, the difference of there being a forward assist. But what do I know?
