P*** off the Canadian Goverment Buy handgun for $47 shipped!!

Are these still available? I’d like to pick one up for my brother who just got his restricted if they are

You are singing my tune brother! Can't wait to see them for sale on the EE. Would be cool if everyone just kept passing them around, trading with each other for the cost of shipping...although I am sure "someone" will list one for some stupid higher price. Anyway...congrats BBB on a great idea and everyone else for joining in! :cheers:
 
I get the concept of creating more restricted owners, however how does 'grandfathering' play into this?
Are folks suggesting that if there is a ban, then current owners may only own as many handguns as they currently had when the legislation drops? So owning one of these would allow me to up the number of handguns I own, at a pittance? So after legislation goes into effect, and I want to purchase a new handgun, I would simply turn in this blank frame so I don't go over my limit of allowable handguns set by the date the legislation went into effect?
Also, I'm waiting for my PAL and restricted to get processed and I have a handgun purchase lined up.

No one really knows how it will happen.
It could be full ban when you have to hand it in without compassion. Like in 1992/95
Could be like 12.6 when only people licensed at the time will now own handguns.
Could be like other country's like the Swiss. When u have to hand in one gun to be able to by another.
Being is would cost billions to do a buy back.
I think they are Likly to do ano new hand gun lic.
When 12.6 come out there were 100k wirh what it now 12.6
In 2018 now less then 50k.
Being you would have to be 45 yrs old to have a 12.6.
In another 25rs there will be less then 3000 people with 12.6
This last option is how I see the goverment be it the libs or the Cons would do it.
