Painting stocks

Painted stocks....

I recently picked up this already painted stock off the EE for my Stevens 200 .243 Win. Swapped it out for the factory grey finish one:

Lacquer paint and a wire brush (flicking / spattering) or lacquer paint in a spray gun, wide open, set to 40 - 60 psi.

Thanks, I like the wire brush idea, will give that a try.

Micheals here in BC is carrying the webbing. Two stores I checked had the webbing in black, sliver and gold.

Cheers

I've asked at Michaels in Winnipeg on several occasions and they always look at me like I'm a two-headed alien. Can you remember the name/manufacturer?

I wonder what happened to all the threads with the stocks painted with bedliner in a can?? those were some real beauties

Some of these threads remind me of some young fellows that decided to paint their car themselves. Looked real good till the first rain, dumbasses used water base paint. Laugh2
