PAL Wait Time

So I called RCMP number, got with an agent and she processed my payment immediately.
She also advised me that my application will not have any delay time seeing that they only started processing it yesterday and I caught wind of the problem even before they could call or send out a letter.
She said that she is moving my application to the next stage from application received and inital processing to in progress and I just checked and it was already moved....She seemed pretty cool and she also said to call back anytime to find out about the status of my application!!

2 weeks ago Monday I saw my app go online and then I faxed in my course report. Still no movement. When I called to verify if they got my fax they basically said just wait.
So I tried to refax it today just in case. I have used 3 online services and they all fail. If I call the 800 number I get the fax squawking so I know the number is correct.
Can anyone recommend an online free fax service that can actually send to their archaic machine?
Or do I have to find an old school fax machine (in the middle of yet another lock down)?

Course results received December 7th, sent same day
No tracking so I'm guessing they were received around the 10th

I’ve been reading the “...Please check the status again at a later date.“ since Feb. 12th.
(I took your advise and tried them both.
Is there another number besides 800 411 0622? I keep getting busy or no answer but if I call on my phone I get the fax squawk.
No joy so far.

If there’s no progress in next two weeks I’m going to phone in once I’ve been waiting for a full six months since they received application.

Spoke to my doctor today about the medical request my CFO wanted complete and it seems he is on board! He said he will take a look through it and may ask me to take a urine drug test, which is completely fine with me I told him. I emailed my doctor that he can email the CFO back with the form so hopefully he does that sometime next week.. then I'm sure the CFO will approve me because he said "I have a very very high chance of getting approved" should my doctor fill that out. Then I will need to wait for the physical license and I can pickup my first firearm, can't decide what that would even be yet to be honest.. something cheap.. I really wonder if I hold the record for longest wait for PAL application?

This is good news, I personally would want to be cc'd on that email however, just in case my doctor happened to belong to doctors against guns. At least I would know right away if he threw me under the bus, and it would help my plan me s74 challenge if they deny.
An update to my fax woes.
I tried about 5 different apps to send a PDF to fax of my course results to the 1-800-411-0622 number and they would all report fail (either busy or no answer).
I sourced out a local old school analogue fax machine and it took 26 seconds with a confirmation result of OK.
The weird part was the number I sent to showed up on the fax confirmation sheet as 1-888-895-9955.
A quick Google search of the number listed it as an RCMP fax number.
Not sure what is going on over there but it looks like they finally received it but for myself anyways the online services refused to work and only an actual fax machine will.
Nice to see they have embraced the 80's technology!

Anyone have a guess at how long from this point? If I called in would they already have a PAL number and expiry?
