PAL Wait Time

sent my form in june and my pal already on its way in the mail

Just to give you an idea of my timeline. After all the threads I read it wearies but is my timeline so far and it is not over yet. Today is was day 23 after the received my RPAL app. It showed up online yesterday on day 22. Today I called CFC and spoke with a very nice lady. She looked at my app and said my file is ready for the interview. She gave me the extension and my reference number. My reference called in shortly after and finished the interview in about 3 min. I called again to ensure the had the interview on file and everything was good. A nice guy looked at my app and assured me everything was a go. I do not know if my law enforcement background helped or not but so far I am very happy with the process. Next step CFO Nova Scotia, which according to the lady will not take long. Next Tuesday it will 28 days, the mandatory waiting period. Hope it helps.

Firefox works fine. Chrome was a hassle but you have to clear cache every ... G...D... time. But as knobs says, Internet EXPLORER is the way to the simple standards of the government.

It must be pretty frustrating working at the CFO and having people like Sturm blowing up your phones every step of the wait. Just be patient, they will call you if there is an issue with your app.

Actually, they will send you a letter. I will continue to blow up the CFC's phone.

I've heard both but yes, call the CFC to check for inconsistencies or missing info, let alone the CFO.

I agree... Im at 66 days and have been calling every week.

I'm curious if that guy has a clean criminal record or not.

Mine was 28 days from Receipt to Approved and in the mail.
I have a clean record and had law enforcement as references.

Alberta and yes that is as of today. Although it my old lady and she can't be bother to call too busy. Can I call on behalf of her? and yes clean as a whistle. But her job is day home so I'm wondering if that could be the cause. Can't remember if they asked about occupation on the form....
