PAL Wait Time

Well I've got my temp paperwork from the RCMP thanks to the store. She printed it off the RCMP's site.
The application was received on Dec 16th 2022 and the PAL was granted on Jan 12th 2023. Took a total of 19 days to get my PAL!
Figured out on the 23rd that it had been granted through the RCMP's web portal. Called the CFO on the 24th, got my new rifle on the 29th of Jan 2023.
 
Once store know your PAL number, expire date, they can transfer firearm to you at any time, they do it online. you will see one reference in the RCMP website.
once done, they can ship firearm to you.

They had me meet a customer of the store/range that does precision/long distance so he could best advise me.

I had one box ticked. Very minor.
As of today the card has not even been printed yet.
I have my number. I was told I can’t do anything without the card. I know some folks have bought online without the card. Is there anything particularly wrong with that?
 
I bought without the card, store confirmed on the RCMP's website that my PAL had been approved and issued. Still waiting on the physical card.

some store don't need physical card, such as Cabela, dominion outdoors

Hello Everyone - Here is my timeline

RPAL - App submitted (online) on 18 Dec 2022. No reference check yet. CC was charged right away.

Status - Initial Review Complete
 
I got mine at the beginning of the month (Jan/23) and it was the old design/style. Printed Jan 6/23, I imagine they are just using up remaining stock before the new style is implimented
 
I applied on Dec 13 for PAL, using the online application process. After references and wife signed off, application status changed to "Application Successfully Submitted". Status has still not changed. However PAL card arrived in the mail today, with an issue date of Jan 11.
 
Completed PAL course November 11th. Received test results a couple weeks later via mail. Completed the Online Application on Nov. 30th with my reference check completed on December 2nd. Received mail asking for copy of my ID (they couldn't open the JPEG files that were attached in the online application). Sent this information via express mail on December 12th. Application has now been approved and card is about to be issued in the next couple weeks.
 
Hi so guys I have already submitted my application last year of June and I had a run in with police at least 2 times I was aressted but never charged with a crime will this be bad when the cfo finally reviews my application they officers told me it wouldn’t end up in cpic but I’m worried this might bite me in the ass later on so I’m wondering what to do or what not to do now

They'll most likely see it, you'll probably have to wait a bit longer and may have an interview.

But I wouldn't really worry about getting denied, I say that as someone who's read many such cases, others can vouch.

I was approved on December 8, 2022 and still waiting for my card. I called them Jan 20, 2023, and it had not been printed yet.

I am not sure if approval date is the only factor in printing wait times.
