You could take that kind of logic a bit further and ban all saws as a prohibited device.
No Brazilian Model 1908 rifles has a grenade launcher fixed to their barrel, you are thinking about the much later Brazilian Itajuba Arsenal plant produced Brazilian model M968 Mauser or the far more common and unlisted and non-banned Spanish FR series of Mausers that came fitted with grenade launchers.
The Brazilian Itajuba produced M968 did come with a grenade launcher but was not built by DWM Mauser like the Model 1908 was.
Brazil later obtained the rights to build Mauser version rifles and start their own series of rifles in 1934. Itajuba Arsenal later became IMBEL (IMBEL; in English: Brazilian War Material Industry).
That certainly isn't indicated though. It would be too easy for the drafters to include caliber details if they felt they were appropriate. And of course one could argue that if the definition of the feature is clear, then why list anything?

That is my understanding also because.....you know.....the 8 gauge is such a prevalent choice for criminals. For the Parkers, I would bet that some clown in the list making dep't, found that a Parker was converted into a double rifle Elephant gun, at some point. Same for the Mauser. Could be chambered in a 'too scary' caliber.
That seems to be the logic behind the Ruger No. 1, and the Weatherby's.
A second guess, is, like the Serbu "Butt-Master", someone had converted one to one of the State's "Any Other Weapon" categories, and so they made it on to the list. Serbu thinks someone in the BATF was sharing privileged Tax Info with the Gun Control people...
I'm with you. Entirely too many questions on the forum, "Oh, are those being banned? But mine aren't on the list so it's all good." History would indicate that eventually evreything will be on the list. If we allow that to happen we deserve what we get.

The fact that people are concerned with what is on the list proves that we, as gun owners are doomed. The problem is the fact that there IS a list. Of course, If gun owners stood for what was RIGHT as opposed to what affects THEM, starting in at LEAST 1977, we would not be discussing this today. We can not turn that clock back and we, as gun owners have allowed the quagmire to consume us up to the neck and there is no chance of struggling free anymore. It is a VERY small minority of gun owners, IMO, that were/are willing to stand up for the rights of all so here awe are, divided we have been falling and there is no stopping the free fall now. If I did not have a family I would not give a $hit about all the narcissistic gun owners out there. I am old enough that I can live out what is coming. However, I have kids and grandkids and it is clear that they have no future. This is NOT just because they will lose the right (and it IS a right not a privilege) to own guns but what is coming and will accelerate once all the legal guns are gone. I do not want my kids and grandkids living in a wool where they will own nothing, eat bugs, and told they are happy.
