PDW builds - Lets see them, and share results

Yeah it did, the above pics are older.

I have the original bolt carrier on there now. I contacted the company, they wanted me to send it back for a replacement, but I never bothered. I don't want a replacement and wouldn't be comfortable selling it. It's not constructed properly in my opinion. I'm lucky the charging handle hit me in the thumb and not in the teeth.

My break is identical. What were the conditions surrounding your shoot. (weather inclusive)

Actually it's mostly milled.. the VZ is a beast of a weapon, that I'd reach for over all else in my inventory if needed in a working role. However, the shorter you go does not mean the better it is. As a PDW.. the short VZ's are out of their game.

Ughh, I hate them. Back in the day I had an AK and to be honest it was CRRRAP! Apparently I haven't been close enough to a VZ to know it is milled and not stamped but in the end it doesn't matter as I'd NEVER own one anyway.

The Grease Gun is stamped. Yeah, I had to.

Yep and in the entire scope of WWII subguns, the Greaser is fairly much a footnote. Only 600,000 some odd Grease Guns were ever made, compared to the Sten and MP38/40 which were both made in the millions. Even the Thompson was made in much larger numbers than the Grease Gun.

FWIW I own an M3 and it is a very cool little SMG but I am more interested in it for its historical and rarity values than because it was stamped and welded.

Was looking through the various threads, and couldn't find anything. (But is also possible it was staring me in the face).

Has there been any rumour on the release time of the new, as yet un-named NEA PDW stock? This summer? This year?

I was in Vegas and went to one of the shooting galleries there, shot a Thompson first and then the greasegun for side to side comparison...the greaser actually shot SOOO MUCH nicer and more controllable with a slower rate of fire. I even managed single shots with it. The only thing that topped it was the MP5.

this is my PDW norinco CQ. i painted it green because the grip was custom and it was in the green color. its hard on the eyes at first but i like it now.just something different . a true black and green gun!
i out fitted it with the eotec and tapco mag. i did have a vertical grip on it and flashlight but i found i like it better without them. it makes the gun lighter without so its just easyer to carry.

I think that bright a$$ green AR wins the ugliest AR I ever seen, or perhaps it was a prank not sure...
Maybe it is a "beauty is in eye of beholder" thing going on? :D

A gun only a FUDD could love. :slap:
