PDW optic suggestions?

A T-1 in 4MOA will suit you fine. I have used them without magnification to make good hits at 500m on 10.3" & 12.5" bbls. If you don't need it for actual gun fighting, you can also get away with the H-1 and save yourself a few bucks.

The T2 only comes in 2moa and the store I went to also does not carry the 4moa in the T1 only the 2moa. So I did bit get to compare the 4moa either

That's too bad. I have both a 2 & 4MOA T1 and find that the 4MOA gives me better results in CQB.

Lots of IPSC MR guys like to run 3-4MOA dots for short-range courses of fire. Generally they go for a C-More, like STS/RTS or even Tactical/Railway models (available from Freedom Ventures). I'm just not sure how durable they are or resistant to elements, so I went with a trusted name (Leupold) for something along those lines.

Do you guys know what setting the 2 or 4 moa is measured at? I notice when I turn the brightness up past about 9 it gets bigger, it gets a little star shaped and blurry too when at 11 or 12. I does seem to get bigger as you turn the brightness up

Strange that they stopped making the new T2 in both MOA choices if the 4 was so popular

I will be running Vortex Sparc II's on both my 11.5" barrel AR and Tavor as soon as they get here
The optic has been getting good reviews, and I am looking forward to trying them out for 3 gun action and plinking
At present, I have Vortex a Viper PST 1-4x scope on my Tavor, and an EOTech 552 on my AR..... and am not too happy with it
The EOTech reticle has been dimming over the last 6 months or so, and is getting worse
Installing the battery compartment mod, and trying several sets of new batteries hasn't helped brighten up the reticle
It'll be making a trip to L3 for warranty service, and then I plan to put it up for sale
Can't wait to try out the red dots though
I believe a red dot is the way to go on a PDW, perfectly adequate for any defensive situation within Mk1 eyeball range

Not a big fan of the SPARC. It's a good to run at the range but I don't like the controls. If running a dot, I prefer something that can run always on and not necessitate frequent battery replacements. I love the Meprolight, but it's a hog so I wouldn't run it on a PDW lol
