I'd just like to touch on the daka system specifically with the 1750 since I own one. It's great and it works awesome for guns that aren't overly wide. My issue with it is the bottom section that houses the grid makes it incompatible with a bolt gun in a chassis with a scope that has larger turrets. If you have a modern scope with larger turrets for parallax or windage it will tip the gun up forcing the opposite turret up so much you will not be able to close the lid. I took the top section of pelican foam out and the inside of the pelicans lid still touched the the windage turret and you will definitely scuff up your turrets trying to close it which I would not recommend at all. Large turrets won't be able to fit in the square holes because they are too small, you won't be able to keep your bolt in the gun closed and you will have spent a bit of money to not get the desired result. You could use a hole saw attachment on a drill if you're set on it and it might relax how the gun lays in the case so the turret can lay down flat. If the height of the grid system was a bit lower it might have worked better for my intended purpose but alas that was not the case.
The daka is great for guns that don't have alot of bulk side to side, guns with red dots, hunting rifles with slimmer scopes. But if you intend to use it for a precision gun in a chassis with beefy turrets, or a shotgun with an aluminum shell carrier on the side kiss that idea good bye and just buy kaizen foam and get it cut by a company that can do it cleanly unless you want to attempt it yourself.
