I have been observing this for a while and I thought I should share it and see if I am on this alone. It's about Colt python and Desert Eagle pistols. These two guns are hardly found in the market. I mean, you dont see many people posting them online for sale apart from stores. I am new to this forum so i might never have seen what and what is posted on the EE forum. Anyway its my own personal observations and Sorry if you found this post annoying.

Desert Eagles are very common on the EE here. It's almost rare to not have at least one for sale.

Pythons go in bursts. Changes in market conditions tend to scare them into hiding or bring them out of the woodwork. When the TV show Walking Dead was at its height, the price of Pythons spiked and there were new ones listed almost every day.

Three Pythons in an on-line auction in Ontatio currently. Closes on Monday. It will be interesting to see what the final price is for each. "German proofed", which is not something I'd heard of previously.

Export guns. I have a Colt New Frontier in 44 Special with Danish proofs, as an example. - dan

An Acquaintance of mine. About 10 years ago asked me if I want to by his recently inhereted desert eagle for 500 dollars ! I snickered and chuckled and told him that it was worth at least 3 times that .... he sold it for a lot more

Had a chat with a Colt collector yesterday, minty '55 python $45,00.oo US just sold , Average condition one he just bought was only 23,000
I always found D.E. a hard sell

I'll echo what the other posters have said that Desert Eagles are quite common on the EE. I found mine at P&D a couple of years ago at a good price, too.

Pythons are not as common on the EE recently, too...at their height sellers were asking $4000 or $5000. Now that TWD's ratings have dropped (and other upcoming changes to the show) values seem to be dropping back to more reasonable levels.

I can't believe the colt python guys give a damn about the walking dead, but not my thing I guess, now forged in fire , that is great.
