Where did we stay last time? I believe they gave us a price break for group.

We had a deal with the Days Inn and Super 8 in Cochrane last time. This time We just figured we would let everyone do their own bookings as most people have AMA or something of that sort and get just as good a deal.

Not this year... can only do 1 big match in July and I am heading to Ottawa.

Last year, we stayed at the Ramada in Canmore. Price was similar to Cochrane but breakfast was much better.... EMPHASIS on the B-Fast.. Full belly is a happy belly.

From BC, way closer vs Cochrane. Commute to the range is also closer.. just more bumpy on the logging road. Then Canmore is a wee bit more scenic when the day is done.

Not sure how rates compare now but Cochrane was pretty darn pricey with the oil guys booking all the rooms in years past. If bringing the sig other, stay in Canmore... Banff, Lake Louise, Columbia ice fields, even Jasper. Shopping and spas. I doubt you will hear any complaints and likely get a green light to come back next year

We were at 49 competitors as of last Friday and we have raised the cap from 48 to 72 by adding a third relay. To do this there are a few minor changes - first is that we start half an hour earlier each day and on Day 3, the two 20 round targets have been reduced to 15, which saves another hour.
