PGW coyote.

My coyote likes the hornady match 168 gr's. I did some reloading with my buddy joeffrey to try out and he's put targets out to 550, 800, 900 & 1129 yards. Hope to go this weekend weather permitting to do some long distance shooting with him. I reloaded this;

Hornady match 168 gr bthp
50 x Remington brass
50 x lapua brass
Federal gold match primers
Velocity 2600 fps
Col 2.800

I did some shooting this morning 3 x 5 shot groups. Factory 168 Hornady, 168 Lapua reloads & Remington 168 reloads. 24km cross winds made it hard to keep steady.

We shot out to 550, 800 & 900 yards yesterday on 15"x15" targets. Hearing the bullet hit the steel & make that noise BUNG was pretty awesome. The 550 target was on the right of the lake below, 800 & 900 targets were down to the left a bit more.

We have one set out to 1129 and it's more towards the middle of the pictures lake below but is further back on another hill. Non of the targets can be seen with my rifle picture sadly. I didn't try the 1129 target yet. This was the furthest I ever shot & I gotta say it's awesome!

J996 it is a great spot & I can't wait to go shoot some more & try the 1129 yard target. Ross the wind that day was from behind us and we were shooting down from our spot to the targets. I think hitting a 15"x15" plate is pretty good isn't it?? I'd like to try the 50bmg out soon as well ... Just waiting on a mount.

Received my LRA bipod recently. Time to take her out and do some long range shooting again me thinks.
