That's what I mean. Regardless of who their contract is with and the expensive price tag on their rifles, I'm sure they can afford to finish the website when they got 4.4 million from the CF for these rifles.

And I doubt the rifles exactly cost 16k each as I've read.

I've searched about PGW and it seems for numerous years they can't put up a proper site and customers that do get in touch with them and pay them for a rifle, have a hard time getting back in touch.

Sucks that the company isn't run properly, oh well. More business for the other guys ;)

McMillan has outstanding customer service, something PGW could take a lesson from and the family are icons in the sniping world. I fired both the T-Wolf and the Tac 338 and personally shot the Mcmillan better. Also shoot the Tac-50 and we know the reputation that rifle has as a work gun.

My guess is, since they have such a big contract with the Canadian Forces...it's nothing compared to regular consumers. If the CF ever decides to not work with PGW, I'm sure then they will try to get us standard users to buy their products and then the customer service will be possibly good.

I've never had a problem with their customer service.:)

I have 2 of their rifles and I'm very satified alround.:cool:

No I'd like to be able to purchase one of their nice rifle's in a few months but this is from what I've read on the internet.

I did email them about 2-3 months ago for a contact phone # and never got a response back.

I'm sure they are buisy, but allowing us little people to get in contact with them easier would help out a lot.
 
Just remember DSR is for Defensive Sniper Rifle, hence LE, probably built up urban environments etc... while the Timberwolf was designed to go run around in the fields.

I have a DSR and it is a superb rifle, probably too good for it to eat sand and dirt though.

Is the Timberwolf a .2MOA shooter? I hadn't heard that.

Anyway, I voted for the DSR because I have one and not a Timberwolf.

I have had similar experience. I almost bought one of their demo rifles prior to the C14 contract, then as the ramp up to the contract hit, I could not get a response at all. Really annoying. Their website also went down hill, and simply no longer exists. They don't need a huge advertising budget, but it makes me wonder if I should risk big bucks on a company that is so resource strapped.

lately(last ~2 weeks) the support seams to have came online. I am now getting answers to questions, but I still feel uneasy about laying down the bucks until I see longer term.
 
Ice - parts are hard to find but are available. I have been making my own.

RePete - I have called both and were promised a quick reply. Still waiting

Yes I have. Also co-workers have as well and were treated like ####. I checked them out also at the 2008 CISC vendor show and at the vendor shoot the next day. The new coyote they brought I could not shoot because it was unserviceable. A big joke but of course it's the best stuff out there because the military uses them right, just like the iltis that fine piece of machinery.
 
I don't speak for PGWDTI, but know that the rifle at CISC was untested and would not have been sold before being checked out. The Timberwolf will meet or exceed any sniper rifle in the world for accuracy, according to my many sniper pals. Have seen it kick ass (3 wins at CISC)
An engineer at Lapua, who is a well-known firearms writer and expert, did an analysis and reported the Timberwolf to be the most rugged action available, directly comparing it to Finnish Sako and AI. I have a Coyote and it's quite well made.

Ive just bought a PGWDTI Coyote. Ive been talking to them about it for the past 2 weeks and have had no problems getting a hold of them. Before i bought the rifle I have emailed them about 6 months back about price and got an immediate response. nothing but good things to say about them.
 
I have had good responses from them in the last 2 weeks as well. They might be over the hill that led to the poor responses of the past(not 100% sure on that, time will tell), but I would like to see at least some sort of a web presence from them before I'd put the bling down on one.

Yes the website sucks or doesn't exist (take your pick). Hopefully it can be up soon however it is not a priority as it is not a primary source of either advertising or projects generated for our Company. It also will require updating routinely as our products are constantly changing based on specific contractual requirements. We have many pictures we can email if you are interested in a specific product.

PM's are not the best way to get us....email is however we are also routinely out of the country in places with only a blackberry for net contact while it is not a great excuse for missing a few emails it is the only one I have.

As indicated in the dealer forum we have a large # of rifles in stock currently so there is no waiting if you would like one.

Apologies to those who did not get an email back or those who feel they were treated poorly at CISC in Gagetown.
