PGW Timbewolf pros and cons? looking for opinions

The thread is now new an improved with less stupid.

I cleaned up as much as I could. Please try to keep this on track. I'd rather not lock a thread that has lots of good info.

T-Wolf Pros

-Proven design - by way of our own Armed Forces
-Well designed action, very slick
-Well designed muzzle break - very little felt recoil
-Accurate to 1/2 MOA - For those that want better, i understand. But all my tests with various powder at 210m(range distance) show all loads with 300smk to be under 1/2 MOA, good enough for me with magnum cartridge.
-Fast responsive service

Cons
-Hard to get 45MOA rail.

All in all, it is a very good rifle, great balance and weight, easy to manuver, excellent deployment kit. Just overall well done.
 
EGW was very good to deal with when wanting a rail with custom specs.

Viper a fellow cgner can vouche for how well the T-wolf shoots
I have shot many excellent groups at 600m on his range so has he.

We have both shot the Twolf in A-5 and folder with excellent
Results at 600m. I have shot it at 1000 many times with excellent results
And have shot out to 1700 yards in -15 conditions. We of course are just
Hacks especially Viper ;>

I noticed Rob Furlong will be using PGW product for his new
School but hey what does he know compared to the CGN Super Snipers:rolleyes:
 
Apparantly not much according to a CGN member who was dissapointed to learn that it took 2 shots to establish his dope(cold bore at 2430m mind you) before CK on his third. Haven't you heard one shot one kill?

Yes, the gentleman I bought it from did. He ordered, waited, got it, then needed money. That's where I came in....

Dont think long range is my thing right now, maybe in the future. Having said that, I don't need the dough and don't mind sitting on it until I do take up long range.

It looks great in the gun room!

Have to add one to the con list. Although I understand why, it is a con for us unfortunate (in this case) minority.:(
 
We cannot offer the Coyote in 223 head size rounds as we do not have a suitable magazine for it. We make all of our own magazines for Coyote and Timberwolf (a shocking revelation to some I know) and we currently cannot justify setting up to make these based on qty we could sell. For the most part we only produce 308, 338 Lapua and 50 BMG. The occasional 260 or 300 Win Mag goes out of here along with some other non-standard stuff but it is pretty rare. If it will not function in our existing magazines we cannot justify doing it.

Single shot stuff is a different story however we have never done a 223 head size in a single shot either...
