PGW Winding down operations

This breaks my heart to hear... but at least they aren't closing the doors. Ill have to contact them to get a C14 parts kit just in case... I love my rifle, cant bear to see it inoperable. PGW... please stay alive!

What parts are proprietary that would be a concern?
 
Any competent gunsmith should be able to spin up a barrel for a PGW. I know Insite has done more then a few.

Also, the original PGW's were made with Kriegers. I believe all the rifles made for the CF had Kriegers. PGW didn't start using IBI barrels until just very recently.

Kreigers to IBI barrels, that is quite a downgrade of barrel in my opinion.

My Coyote with the IBI barrel is 1/4MOA.

I can't tell the difference between my Bartleins and others.
You obviously need to tweek the ammo as you change the barrel.
 
We did a lot of business with PGW back when they were Prairie Gun Works and contracted to get Lapua .338LM designated as the Medium Range Sniper Rifle System. Took 6 years!

We are quite disappointed and saddened that they are winding down and wish all involved the best for the future.
