PGW Winding down operations

One of the Truly Great Canadian Companies...with dedicated, excellent people.

I have had the privilege of dealing with Nate, Roxanne over the past year and a half.
Great people, support and customer service...who stand behind their products.

They are "winding down", the operations, and could potentially re-open.

They will still be available for any warranty / issues with their products...see website.

Let's hope they reopen sooner than later.

God Bless Ross, Steve, Roxanne, Nate and ALL the PGWDTI workers who worked on getting us high quality, solid, dependable rifles that will last a long time, and created a Canadian Legacy!

Correct, they are in the same place just with no staff as I understand it, but I hear they are ramping up for a run of 308 coyotes this year.

Certainly some staff on hand, being I talked with them within the past few days. A few of them are members on the forum, they might chime in.

Honest question that may come off a bit rude, were they just beaten out by companies like CADEX? They were the hottest thing in the country years ago.

I don’t think they are really trying to compete with Cadex, in fact after all the BS they apparently had to deal with over military contracts I don’t think I would want to go through that and keep going down the same path if I didn’t have to, clearly they are financially stable and not needing to squeeze every dollar out of their name, smaller shop can take some time off or scale back at their whim then good for them, perhaps easing into retirement is a good thing as the country continues to burn and the firearm industry continues to be sacrificed.

Any updates if there will be a run on coyotes in McMillan A-5?

Best to contact them directly.

As an aside, they have 2 Timberwolf rifles with the folding stock chassis in .300 PRC available....... ;)

I recently shot one of these with the McMillan stock and was very impressed.
