Abbotsford Tactical Shooters are pleased to host Phase Line Green's 2 day Advanced Carbine
Course, 27-28 July, 2013.
I shot this course over in Victoria, and can highly recommend it. Note it is
an advanced course, with a fast paced instructional timeline. Ensure your
guns and gear work (no last minute gun mods, and ensure you're sighted in),
and I would recommend spare firearms, if you haven't run your current setup
hard.

Advanced Carbine (2 day)
This course is designed primarily with the needs of the law enforcement or
military professional in mind however, experienced carbine shooters will
gain valuable insights and experience as well. Skills showcased in this
course range from the application of fundamental shooting skills through to
use of cover, multiple target engagement, communications, judgment and team
tactics. Also included in this course is transitional training from rifle to
pistol. This course can also be tailored to the specific needs of a
particular organization based upon their operational environment including
low light engagements and field tactics.
Required equipment:
Reliable rifle and at least 5 magazines (5 round or your duty magazines IF
you are authorized to train with/possess them – for duty magazines, only 3
are required.)
Reliable pistol with at least 3 magazines, secure holster that covers the
trigger guard, at least 2 pistol magazine pouches
Sturdy belt and at least 2 magazine pouches or the equipment that you use to
carry your magazines. (We emphasize that you wear your operational
equipment)
Body armour (if you wear it operationally).
400 rounds of reliable rifle ammunition
200 rounds of reliable pistol ammunition
Hearing protection, eye protection and a baseball cap
Clothing suitable for inclement weather
Water and snacks
Pen and pad if you wish to take notes (always a good idea)
