Abbotsford Tactical Shooters are pleased to host Phase Line Green's 2 day Advanced Carbine
Course, 27-28 July, 2013.

I shot this course over in Victoria, and can highly recommend it. Note it is
an advanced course, with a fast paced instructional timeline. Ensure your
guns and gear work (no last minute gun mods, and ensure you're sighted in),
and I would recommend spare firearms, if you haven't run your current setup
hard.

For more information, and to register, visit the link below. Course cost is
$375 +HST (soon to be only PST..). A $10 range fee will be collected, prior
to the start of class, on the first day of the course. Start time will be 1000 hrs, each day

Is there a camping area at Abbotsford fish and game? Or near by?

Myself and the Old man would like to attend, but money is always an issue, and accommodation often puts this kind of endeavor just out of reach for us. We too took the Advanced Carbine in Victoria and would love to take part again, but it being in Abbotsford changes the cost quite a bit.

I ask about camping area's because Victoria Fish and game has a camping area that would be make sense for this kind of things.

Hiya Steve..!

Camping is not available at the facility, but is available around the area; a search for hotels and campgrounds- Abbotsford, should give you the info you're looking for.
Unfortunately, I can't post the 'usual' accommodation links, in the thread..

Best to PM Doc about the range fee.
As for camping, if you have a camper you can stay in the parking lot, but there are no hook ups. There really isn't any area to setup tents. There are no showers on site either, so you'd either be stinky or handwashing at the sink/hose.

Right now for myself, it's lack of funds to commit.
I have the ammo, and equipment. Just a little tight for me right now.
Lots of stuff needs to be done in the yard before everything starts growing like nutz.

If I can, I will sign up. It's been a couple years since my last course.

^^Save 20 bucks a week in a coffee can and you'll have the funds before the course starts!

This is a great course, you'll be kicking yourself for missing it! I'd take it again in a heart-beat but I'll be in Ottawa during that weekend.:bangHead:

No problem sm3..
Visit Earl's site, at Phase Line Green, and check out the course listings, for more info.

It's a great course..!!

I am extremely interested in something like this, but I don't have the gear at this point. If these run a couple times a year around the province then I'll definitely attend at some point.
