Phase Line Green Tactical @ PCFGA, Peace River, AB, June 7-11, 2013

I wrote a review of the AGW Linear Muzzle Brake for the VZ in Allan Gun Works section of the forum. That's about as close to an issue as I had. 2 FTF's due to ammo (hard primers, I think) and that's it.

With the rain on the Arma-Coat, my CZ was practically self-lubricating. :D

Soup is here!

It was a pleasure training with Phaseline Green and all the course participants up in Peace River Alberta. Thank you to Earl for the special care and attention he paid towards me the newbie, and for the lifelong nickname. Thank you to our hosts Stevo and albertacoyotecaller who were a class act both in organization and maintenance of everyday course activity and in making us visitors feel at home (with roof overhead). Thank you to Rick for leading us to the local watering hole in town and for range side survival lunch. Thank you to Mark, Chris, and family with j my neighbours range side providing camaraderie and shelter from the rain. Thank you two Clints for marriage counselling and cheap gear advice. Thank you to all of the participants who made the experience what it was with all of us together on the line leaking brass.

Hey Soup;

I think you left your lawn chair at my pad. You will have to come back next year to recover it. ;)

Hey guys, very sorry for falling off the radar off the after training, got buried in work. I figured id come up for air and check in. I have a bunch of vids that if everyone involved is ok with sharing amonst eachother, i can privatly share em?

but for me the course was great. earl was a fantastic instructor and great leader. I enjoyed the way earl communicated with the class, approached topics and drills. I honestly dont have any complaints nor critiques (not that i would want to) I am a phaseline subscriber now. I plan on attending these regularly in the future.

as for the venue, I was extreemly impressed with peace river range. what a well put together and fully complimented field. now if it was only easier to get a membership! (*cough call and pay for it with my credit card and have the membership shipped to me *cough)

as for me, i was able to hone my skills alot, i was able to ask questions as earl was approachable and not condecending with questions or clarification. I personally loved the rain, made the weekend an A+, everyone in the class was great, no one was a gucci cam wearing magpul toting ####... oh... wait... lol. but seriously, great bunch of guys hope to see you all more regularly. My ar and 1911 were absolutly horrifyingly dirty tuesday night when i cleaned em thanks to the humidity. Im surprised i didnt have any gun issues due to fouling.

but anyways. thoroughly enjoyed it. will do it again. looking forward to when phaseline visits again.
my soggy ride home, my boots were on the ground airing out

I spread all my gear out on the man cave floor when I got home. Ammo cans were emptied on to towels, clothes hung and everything left to dry for a few days before I cleaned it up.

Took a couple cleanings to keep the VZ from rusting like an anchor after all the rain.
