Pick 3 **centerfire cartridges** to cover NA game

.45lc
.454 casull
.460 SW
Ha! Did you see that?
I only need to carry one gun!
As an alternate to .460 you could use 410 the .454 pretty much makes the .460 redundant maybe a longer teach with the .460...
Revolver caliber so if you wanted something fast on your hip

Newer and faster doesn't always mean better. Something needs to be said for class, which 375 H&H has in spades.

Yep - there are a few cartridges that, even after over 100 years, we have not been able to improve on or replace: 22 LR, 6.5X55, 30-30, 375 H&H come to mind.

Because you selected a 375 h&h when we all know there is a better modernized choice.

While it's absolutely true the 375 Ruger is the modern 375 cartridge of choice - superior in all respects to the 375 H&H- some people still enjoy nostalgia, and the 375 H&H, with it's obsolete case design and long history has nostalgia in spades. Lot's of people enjoy vintage things, so it's perfectly understandable to use an obsolete cartridge like the H&H, if this thing appeals to you.

There are a huge number of hunters still buying new rifles chambered in 375 H&H and acquiring used ones chambered similarily and I think that is a tribute to the undying popularity of the 375 H&H.
They are smart enough to see past the BS and realize that the performance difference between it and the Ruger is negligible.
No amount of slagging / criticism can take away the fact that the 375 H&H is a superb cartridge and will be popular for a great many years to come.
I have both it and the Ruger and like them both...

It is my opinion that in the next 100 years the .375 Ruger will not achieve the fame or class nor the animals harvested by the venerable .375 Holand & Holand.
