Centrefire cartridges:

.233Win / 5.56 for Yotes and small stuff (can be loaded 32 to 90gr)
.308Win / 7.62 for deer sized (can be loaded 110gr to 200gr)
.338 Lapua (you could theoretically have made a short rifle for bush hunting large bears or buy a long range precision rifle)

(to round it out completely I would add a rimfire .17HMR or .22Mag and a 12ga shotgun)

For me, I like the versatility of sharing bullets between the 30 caliber cartridges , and the common .224'' bullets. Great selection for both too.

I still have 7.62x39 but that's another story.

Second : the grand daddy of most modern cartridges the 8x57 (8mm mauser )
Third choice: 9.3x74r or 9.3x62

To hard to choose, so that's why I have most of them.
