Good luck on your hunt.
Moose liver’n un-yuns is yummy.
Don’t furgit the Okanagan panty remover.
Dab oh dat in the cast iron fry pan makes it all the better.
It is but they just tell you the basics. Soft bullets for game.I still think basic info about the various ammo types and calibers should be taught during the hunting course
Exactly, the shooter does his/her job and the bullet does the rest. The ammo is fine. Actual performance still boils down to shot placement.

NAA.
Interlocks would be my first choice. Not a fan of Barnes ttsx .Had these on hand from a couple of years ago and am going to use them next month for the Moose week.
300 Win. Mag is my primary, and the 30-06 is the backup.
Anyone have field experiences with either ?
I'll be zeroing both rifles tomorrow at a distance of 150 yds

Agree.Personally I'd prefer the bullets to be reversed - interlock in the 30-06 and TTSX in the 300mag as 300mag velocities are a bit high for a cup-and-core bullet for my liking, and 180gr is heavier then I'd pick for a monometal in 30-06 - but both will kill moose just fine as long as you put 'em where they're supposed to go.
