Picking up my BCL 102 in 6.5CR tomorrow!!!

I know right?

Seriously, the cone of silence needs to be lifted on this now.

Force BCL and the distributor to break all this silence BS by not doing anymore preorders with them until they can give straight up answers ! To me it looks as those the platform was not totally proven overseas. They are figuring these rifles out as they go and the customer are the guinea pig until it is perfected.

I wouldn't be to impressed if every preorder stage ends up being a new generation of BCL 102. :rey2

If I'm happy with my BCL that is expected at the end of the month I will pick up another when possible and rebarrel to .338 federal. Should make a great bush gun.

O.K. Didnt know a 7mm wasnt an option.....Not too sure about how superior a 6.5 CM is than 7mm-08???

I own rifles in both calibers, both are capable and flat shooting but 6.5CM has trajectory similar to 300 Win Mag and recoil lighter than a 308 (a little lighter than 7-08).
7-08 barrels are available with a DPMS pattern extension but you'd have to go with a different manufacturer to get one.

I was following your progress in the FB group. really excited it turned out to be so simple.

I was planning on purchasing extra uppers, to have a setup in 6mm creedmoor, and probably 45 raptor for my 102.

But now the exclusive retailer of this firearm comes in here telling us that major components may not be compatible between orders. Without any certainty... lol

not acceptable at all. in any other situation, most consumers would have backed out. but since it's an "NR AR10" people are lining up into next year to buy it.

and the silence from sfrc is really telling on their complacency regarding the issue. doubt anything will change from sfrc/bcl.

they've lost my business until this clears up. But they already have my money so doubt they care.

What do you want me to say besides what I said. The next batch of guns has ambi bolt releases and a few small things many people asked for. I’m simply saying wait until the guns are in hand that’s all.

Handguard comment removed as I may have misunderstood that from BCL

The sky is falling! The Sky is falling....jeez...i mean, Ryan could have played dumb, not said a thing, but he decided to say "there are changes, makes sure the changes dont turn your new barrel into a paperweight" and hes the bad guy?

Come on....

For one, thank you Ryan for your honesty and a POSSIBLE heads up warning...

I guess waiting another week or two will be the end of the world for some.

Thanks for the update, I didn't know about the lighter hand guard... I'm even more excited :)

I was not going to say anything, but what you said is bull**it, Ryan can find out the info if he wants, is BCL going to design and build the rifle at the last minute, not a chance they know exactly what the rifle is based on. They are not releasing the information for their own purposes, like making barrels with different calibers so you will buy from them because no one knows what they are based on. Tell me one AR manufacturers that will not tell you what there rifle is based on. safety issues aside, people are going to change these rifle and if someone get hurt because of lack of information that would be a great lawsuit

You're right....Ryan is in on the conspiracy...i'm still unsure on what conspiracy it is but MAN THE TIN FOIL HATS anyways!

Since day one NEA and now BCL has been spotty at best with information...

Maybe some of it has to do with the fact that it shares so much with a restricted firearm? Openly yelling to the world "LOOK!!! YOU CAN SWAP IN RESTRICTED BARRELS WITH EASE!!!" may not be on their priority list for obvious reason.

Thanks for the update Ryan, let BCL know, that the people I've talked to at least appreciate the non restricted AR10 they're putting out.

you're acting like it's not standard business practice to let your consumer know what they're buying.

we should be so blessed we're even getting a gun at all for our $1749.99!

Any feeding issues after the conversion? I was under the impression that some 6.5 Creedmoor semi autos are prone to problems as the shoulder of the 6.5 case is at more of an angle and deeper.

Really looking forward to any range reports.
