I hunt with a large group in the fall in southern ontario for deer and I have pics somewhere of our mobile moose camp that we take to ear falls.... I will post them later when I dig em up. Show em off...I just like to see how others spend their camp time. Tents, cabins campers lets see em all!

mine. nothing special, but it keeps the rain off and keeps me warm. used to be alot of partridge here, the last couple years they've been on the decline though, unfortunately.

Home sweet home!

Deer camp north of Brockville, on the footprint of an aging barn. Barnboard was recycled for the interior, have the luxury of electricity, running water and propane heater, only thing missing is a sauna!

Not a great photo of moose camp, we were installing a new chimney at the time, hence all the junk around.
That's the shower in the foreground, it's now installed as well.

We've tried various things, tents, campers, rv's etc,
but we now each have our own trailer, and use a Costco shack as our community space
for meals, swapping lies, playing cards, keeping warm, etc.

This is the same thing every year. There are not a lot of musicians that brave the weather, but its getting better. More and more entertainment every year.

Located in WMU 49 (central Ontario). We do the deer hunt and moose hunt; family hunts grouse, waterfowl, and bears as they wish. The oldest section was built by my great grandfather and is approaching its 100th year. We have a dug well and run power when needed via a generator.

The Sauna (we're Finns, kinda have to have one)

Outside. Our family uses it for large gahering when not in use as a hunt camp.

cool camps! What is that black animal that you have mounted?

I have an outboard just like the one on your wall and mine still runs! Not bad for a 1932.

I believe it's a fisher, older gentleman who was a trapper donated it to our camp, 'the mount itself is quite old.

As for your motor, all I can say is WOW! Please tell me what current outboard I can purchase that'll run till 2088... I think that our motor still turns over, haven't really tried hard to start it, it just might work.

This was my last camp for the year Nov 21/2010 temp = high of -11 low was -15...

We used to camp in the old log cabin we would put tarps up on the walls and floor to keep the wind out... :)
