Great picts guys!!

Really interesting to see how fellow CGN's hunt (esp those out west).

I have to hunt with horses in the mountains someday. Looks beautiful.

Our camp started out as a school portable. A few additions have been put on since.;)

My hunting cabin and horse... some pics of the trail, which is mountians and thick bush, love it. load out on my horse this trip moss500 and an old win94car 3030, no chest strap it broke:( but didnt need it anyway for this trip. did have another buddy with horse, and of couse we had a pack horse. was a small group this time. unfortunetly will be the last hunting trip i'll do with horses, had to put down my favorite horse this summer, which devistated me:(, had other horses but ended up selling them, so its maybe time for a quad.

We built the frame years ago and just tarp it up.

Dad's been hunting from the same camp for over 50 years, me just over 25. It's home....the rest of the year is just filler.

We sleep in campers but this is where the stories are told! Welcome to the Moosestang ranch.

Here's the camp in cold ops mode. When it hits -10 we run plastic in behind the fire pit to keep the old guys and our treasured camp cook warm.

Love the name of your 'ranch'. With the name, blackwater, I assume your camp may be in the B.C. central interior?? If so, I'm located not too far away. My sister & I share ownership of the family cabin in the Bowron Lake area. We once lived close by in Wells.

This is my first experience with wall tents. We had four middle aged men farting, snoring and belching in that tent at night. Had there been any smokers in our group - we would have made the Hindenburg Disaster look like a joke!
