I never saw anyone besides Canada lease and fly thier own former Combloc airframe (our Mi17v/ch178). But I did see tons of countries contract them (flown by contractors)

As an ex navy guy I always find it sad to see an old lady going to the breakers. I know the reality but so many lives tied up with a ship like the Kitty Hawk. I know you can't save them all but still sad to see them go.
