Who remembers or used the 19 radio set ?
I was introduced to the No.19 radio set at Val Cartier in the late 1950's, as part of my training as infantry signaller.
It was already very dated, even then.
Is that the radio set that had the "0" beats you had to tune in before setting the frequency?

Not a comment on the Enfield vs. AR, but about the value of the person in control of the bang switch. A couple of fellows who used to wear those red ####s showed up at a service rifle shoot I was at a few years ago. It was a freaking embarrassment, how bad they made the rest of us look.

He knows what he is doing,
1) Thumb along trigger finger side of stock, harder to jerk off a shot.
2) Uses a glove to reduce pulse effect on rifle + better grip without undue tension on muscles.
3) Knows what a sling is for.
I would have kept my left elbow closer to my chest in the standing position.
