Could be. But one thing for sure - that horse loves that girl.

Meanwhile, somewhere east of Poland...

Iran had these too (days of the Shah) and an Iranian F-14 was the only one to use the Phoenix missile in combat to destroy an enemy aircraft.

And yet used only in testing and not an operational loadout, as it made the aircraft too heavy to return to the Boat with all six missiles.

They still have them, albeit in indigenously modified form. There have been instances of other combat use of Phoenix by the US Navy, but no confirmed kills. The Iranian claims range as high as 70 kills, which is extremely unlikely.

On this day in 1969, he became the first of our species to step on to a foreign body in space. Think about that for a minute. What an enormous accomplishment. What a remarkable man. I am thankful he lived and thankful for what he accomplished.

I hope he and the Wright Brothers, and Hanna Reitsch, and Gus Grissom are all having coffee and telling stories somewhere.

Would not want to be around when that went off!

This set up is flawed ! Isn't going to hold point of aims !Hum! Needs maybe four or five rolls of good old duct tape that would for shure steady it up a hole bunch !
