The guys who flew the 109 thought of the F model as the best of the breed. The G was "more airplane" but had lost something.

Want rarity? The BF-109X was powered by the BMW 801 radial that helped make the FW190 such a solid aircraft.

Dig that crazy bubble canopy, too.

Looks somehow Japanese to me. Maybe it's the big mill followed by the long skinny tail... I'm still not sure i like the look of it, but there is something appealing about it.

Wow sadness is right. I have no clue why they would scrap those jet fighters so soon after they arrived in Canada. It makes no sense to throw those away.
