Six wheel drive, articulated, could climb trees and kinda float.

2-stroke diesel, loud, slow, complex to maintain. But they stack well.

Any one of those, plus another two or three for parts, and you could be the Gama Goat King.

At one time on this forum there was a question about sidearms for aircrew. My father was WW2 RCAF aircrew and I know he had a S&W 38 in a blue canvas holster. I know he flew with it because of a story he told me of shooting at a passing flock of ducks with it while taking a dingy out to a moored Canso.

I have just read a good book about the life of a RCAF recruit in 1940 through to the war's end. Only 5 of his 35 colleagues survived the war. he mentions his sidearm in passing.

Blast from the past-Etrich Taube. 1909 design, one of the pioneer aircraft, one of the first military aircraft used for bombing.

With top speed near 100km/h that must have been one very interesting ride on one of those. Most of those pix are of replicas as picture of originals aren't around or are of bad quality and retouched for print.
