If you are seeking info on the Babiole tractors/conversions just resort to Google, What Babiole did was take all the Ketts they could and "reverse engineer" them to drive "backwards". Simca (France) produced a KK version for the wehrmacht so the two source streams of bodies where there before production of actual tractors could recommence post war. You should see some of the wild home made cars made from Schwimmwagens and Kübels, some crude and some a very high degree of workmanship, cars had a low priority over trucks in the years immediately after the war.

The French aviation industry produced two kinds of aircraft - prewar antiaerodynamic horrors and postwar segsy AF sleek things. Bit of chronological spillover here - some of the prewar stuff was gorgeous - but generally speaking there was the homely sh!te before Adolf popped by in 1940 and the stunners after he left in 1944.

Case in point - the Dassault 312 is a bit portly, but it works. Great looking bird:

if a garden shed and a quonset hut love each other very much...

Tank and tracked vehicle conversions were all the rage after WWII. When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. When life gives you a Type 95 Ha-Go...

Somehow, I doubt that. More likely curiosity for a platform he was unfamiliar with.

I suspect your reply was in jest?????

You would be surprised at how many people these days have no idea what a No1 MkIII Lee Enfield is, or how many combatants have never seen or held one.
