I think you're missing the point, bud. Any pistol magazine that holds more than ten rounds of the calibre it was designed to hold (I.E. 11 is more than 10) is a prohibited device, regardless of where it was bought or how it was pinned.

As far as the OP's original post, I have OEM, KCI, ETS and Magpul mags and all work just fine. Two of my KCI's are 10/33, and they feel cheap once they're loaded up (can hear/feel something rattling around inside) but haven't given me any issues thus far. My other KCI's (5 to be exact) are all 10/17's and the only possible issue was not holding open exactly twice on an empty mag, but my buddy was watching me shooting and says I had my thumb resting on the slide release and I do remember death gripping it at the time. The Magpul PMags are 10/17's, and they have worked fine. Orange follower, but no witness holes in the back which I kinda like and miss on the Magpuls. Although to be fair I do think they have one witness hole when the mag is filled to 17, but that's not much good up here. The ETS (see through) are factory ten single stacks, which doesn't look as cool as a double stack in my opinion. Rounds are kinda wonky. No issues though. And my OEM are factory 10's, but no issues there either.
 
The only issue I've ever had was with terrible pin jobs. I got one batch from a sponsor that was obviously done by someone who didn't give a ####. Rivets were placed randomly and all but one of the five held more than 10.
 
To those giving attitude(fox alpha, marshal, sharpsway), here's a little knowledge that gunna hurt the ol' ego, so hang on...

These are oem factory glock 10 rounders and 10/17 ect., not pinned or pinned, without the metal tab on the front. From my experience* (documented below), all hold 11 rounds. I've seen this with multiple sources, over years, 2 different friends and about 30 mags. They all hold 11. Just like the 17 rounders hold 18 in the states, again, it needs to be the ones without the exposed metal for some reason.

I'm not being smart, if people don't bother to check, or are worried about their factory glock mags. My buddy will gladly destroy them for you, free of charge. However, you may only have glock mags that have the exposed metal tab or can't fit the last round, ignorance in bliss.

For those who do bother to check, it's not easy to put in the last round. A mag loader helps but I personally don't have any trouble loading with fingers. The mags probably aren't recommended to use with 11 and may prematurely wear, who knows.

And please, enough with the "+10 is prohibited". Yes, everyone knows. I am simply passing on information, do as you please with the knowledge I give you. Heck, go full on boyscout and call glock to complain. Just be aware, before you point fingers, you best check your own mags.
 
Only if it does not have the metal tab on the front**. Every single magazine someone has show me like that we've been able to stuff 11 in. That has been MY personal experience with friend's magazines from about 30 different ones, ranging in ages and from different suppliers. Some are easier than others, but they all fit if pushed hard enough. They cycle well too.
 
I also forgot to mention that we haven't tried the new glock 5 mags. These are only the ambidextrous ones (gen4?), without the little metal tab. I'm curious what gen they are and why some have the metal tab..?

Even the G26 mags as described hold 11.
 
Any good tips on tweaking the KCI mags?

I've got about 10 for my Kriss Vector and 2 GLock 21's. Most of them are not reliable enough, so they sit in the bottom of the Glock mag box under the OEM Glock mags. I always figured there must be some trick to get them running properly?
