PS: WD-40 better than most (balisol)
I've used hoppes9, G96 with great results but have stared using balistoil. If it's a good as it seems I'll be switching to it over the others, I like that it cleans fouling easily and is non toxic. If I get any on my skin I don't worry about it, you can mix it with water to neutralize corrosive salts as well. I'm a big fan of a product that does multiple tasks with great results, same with multiple guns that shoot the same ammo. Keeps it simple, does the job.
Use what else works for you, be it cleaning rod, brush & jags or bore snake. I like a brass rod but I picked up an Otis snake dealy that I need to give a try. Grease on the slides of my pistols, light oil on everything else.
