gen 5 glock 17 and don't use the beavertails. I suggest trying it out first. My 13 yr old daughter prefers the glock 44 it is a 22lr glock pistol. No grip add ons for her. She can also get a proper grip on my 1911 with ultra thin grips.

I'd 2nd this on the Browning. My GF has really small hands and she also has really bad arthritis making it difficult to grip my larger 9mm's ( CZ P10C and Shadow 1 ) so I purchased the Browning 1911-22 and it fit her perfectly. Great little pistol to boot.
