A thread with a similar title got me thinking, what are the cool pistol tricks a guy needs to know to get the full handgun experience?
The ones I'm familiar with:
- catch the round you rack out of the chamber in mid-air Use to do that every time I unloaded after work
- rack the pistol by shoving the whole gun forward violently Huh?
- any shots where you are aiming at the target without looking down lined up sights, such as hip firing and compensating for having the front sight in the wrong spot on the target by mis-aligning the sights Surprisingly acurate at 2 meters
- after a reload, catch the falling mag That one I never did. Would probably need one of them race guns with a magwell as big as a hubcap to do it.
Haven't tried, might be good?
- akimbo Fun but make sure you hold the pistols straight and far enough apart. I've seen someone blow the front end of the right hand gun because the recoil brought his left hand aim right
