I'm taking my restricted this wednesday and was doing some studying for the test when it struck me.
You need to be a member of a gun club to have a handgun unless you're a collector. So lets say that a person is a member of a club, buys a gun and all is gravy.
Do the guys in black helicopters come and take your handguns away as soon as you're membership expires? That is when you renew your PAL will they ask if you're a member of a club, or does the gun club have to notify the CFO when your membership expires?
Edit: I should probably clarify, I have no intention of not joining a club, it's just a question regarding if the police can take something you legally obtined just because you don't belong to a club for a year or so (travelling abroad, school, etc).
