If you’re a Dentist, and your practice bills 85% of its business to insurance, you are a moron if you work to cancel that business without a suitable replacement.

Even if your insurance reps say mean things to you, jiggle your copay requirements, etc

It’s 3/4. In colloquial terms it represents “most of your business”.

How some of you can cheering for the #######s working overtime to kill business with 73% of our exports with no serious replacement plan with no better motivation that domestic political ratings is…

What’s that word?

Yeah. It’s ####ed. And yet you don’t seem to get why part of the country not only doesn’t support you. But actively wants to separate.

So will any of these new Tarrifs have any affect on the cost of ammunition or components for reloading?
My immediate response would he to say yes. Even if indirectly. Higher costs here mean u have to raise prices there. Yadda yadda.

That said, i am not convinced that the cost of components can get much higher and still be a viable product for retail.

There will always be people, like myself, who load for personal satisfaction and increased accuracy, (and the margins of the latter are closing) but for anyone who loads to save money, i think the market is on a razors edge already.

i load for friends and I frequently find myself identifying opportunities for them to buy match factory ammo for leas than I can load it for them.

All that said, ammo prices will also go up so………

You can love your country and dislike the government.
No you can't.
What is a country? Land, scenery? No. It is the people collectively, how they think and behave.
The people of this country have bought into socialism heavily and stick their heads in the sand to ignore the ruin coming down on all our heads.

The people are a direct reflection of the government because they let that government happen.
So when you ever so gently say "dislike" the government, you "dislike" all the stupid people collectively who made it a reality.

It's Trump and his cronies that is bent on destroying Canada. As much as I despise Liberal governments, we mus stand united and fight back against any who attack us. If you hate enough to stand by and poke at folks who are standing up to the bully -- move to the states.
You think Carney gives a rats azz about Canadians? The cost of food, gas, etc?
Give your head a shake .

Oh look, an easterner with CBC induced stage 4 TDS.

Exactly.

Canada's current problems are completely the responsibility of the mostly eastern voters who chose corrupt, incompetent, socialist govt FOUR times.

So I agree, one cannot hate one's govt and love the country because the govt is the responsibility of the voters and the voters are the country.

As an aside, the only way out from all of this for western Canada is Wexit, because the east seems intent on voting stupid in again and probably again.

I’m willing to bend over for the USA, who’s with me?
Its not a question of "bending over" for America or "selling out" or any of the other stupid and simplistic slogans the left loves to use to justify their emotional and childish responses.

What America wants is a good friend and a strong neighbour. Canadians don't seem to be able to be that ... which is just inconceivable considering our position in the world. Canada's primary problem is that we only seem to be able to see ourselves as, "not American" which is quite pathetic.

Americans don’t want friends, they want someone to spoon feed them. Canadians need to branch out and develop trade with the rest of the world.

Curious what "spoon feed them" means?

And, while it is possible to diversify, I think it's important to realize that certain, maybe most, products are not going to be able to break into new markets as shipping precludes it...

Four times? The Libs have formed government for somewhere around 88 of the last 126 years. Eastern voters have chosen stupid many more times than just the last 4 elections.

Canadians need to branch out and develop trade with the rest of the world.
Of course, but that has little to do with Trump and his actions now. If we weren't so retarded and spent so much energy hating successful people we would have been doing this for the last century at least. Why do you think Alberta has wanted access to tidewater for our oil and natural gas for the last 70+ years?

Despite that, we are always going to do the bulk of our trading with the US. Simple geography and the relative size of the markets makes this so.

The data speaks for itself.

I really feel for people who don't own their house free title and have some money set aside to exercise options, because this level of stupid is going to hurt.

My recent order of ammo. That in May I bought 2 cases ( 149$ from 179$ ) was only 11$ extra to ship, that wasn't covered by the "free shipping"

Sept price was 189$ from 209$ and extra 48$ to ship. Same UPS, same location, same 2 cases of same weighted ammo.

So these 2 cases costed me extra 108$
This. Bingo. In typical Canadian fashion, greed has taken over and is dictating everything in this country now. This is applicable to everything bought in Canada for almost 15 years now. Even more so since the china virus fiasco and psyop.
It's a runaway train now. Name a product or a service and it applies to it. Rest of the world is going on as they have before. Been all over eu and states in the last 5 years and the changes that we're experiencing here are miniscule in comparison.
I just asked a guy to some drywalling at the house. Patch up few holes and add a bulkhead. I was quoted $5200 plus tax plus materials! This country is beyond fked. No end in sight. And it will only keep getting worse.
Tariffs are just a distraction for the insane gov taxation and theft in Canada. They fail in comparison. Combined with greed Canada is is going to the $hitter.
